Online (and postal) applications for UK Probate (for use in England & Wales).

This is a fixed fee online probate service to deal with applications for Probate or Letters of Administration when the deceased was domiciled (resident) in England or Wales. Please contact us if the deceased was domiciled outside of the UK at the date of death.

It deals with online probate applications when there is no dispute about the validity of a will or entitlement to take a Grant and for estates less than £325,000 in value (or £1 million for an estate passing to a UK born husband or wife) .

This service is NOT suitable if you need help with the actual Estate Administration itself (e,g, accessing, transferring and collecting in the assets of the deceased).

There are two types of Grant possible using this service :

  • Probate (when there is a valid Will)

  • Letters of Administration (when there is no vaild Will)

Probate applications online or by post

By law probate applications on your behalf have to be processed and submitted to the court by a Law Society regulated Solicitor and our application fee includes payment for this provision using a nationwide network of probate solicitors. Because a Solicitor makes the application for you, you do not have to attend the usual interview at the Court (or Probate Registry) in person and the application is fast-tracked.

The fully-inclusive fee of £495.00 (see ONLINE APPLICATION FEE for a breakdown) also includes a discounted court processing fee.

If the estate exceeds the values stated above or in different circumstances, or you are not sure if this service is suitable for the circumstances, please contact us for further assistance.
